In the Midst of Exhaustion...
Aug. 30th, 2007 11:32 pm...an update.
Where has the week gone? Oh yeah, that's right. It got swallowed up in the first week of school. Yes, I remember now. There's so much going on that I really, really want to blog about - meeting with advisers, settling in to the seminars and getting the feeling that its going to be a fabulous year with a fabulous group of people, holding my own in Japanese class, など。
I can't get in to it right now, though, because I just got home from a screening of the anime film Paprika on campus, there's the first Japanese test to contend with tomorrow (and you can never study too much for those), and I'm pooped.
Perhaps this weekend, when things slow down a bit, I'll have some time to share.
Or perhaps not.
After all, who says things are going to slow down this weekend? There's an art history grad student party on Friday, an Asianists potluck on Sunday, and a good 200 pages of text to read (and attempt comprehension of) for my Methodology and Ancient Chinese Arts & Cultures courses. But at least I didn't get stuck with 300 pages for one course alone, like my compatriot S. did. So it could be rougher.
And with my eyes looking firmly on the bright side, I'm off to bed.
