Last night I was all set to watch Ju-on 2, just arrived in the mail from netflix. I popped the dvd in, cued it up, and got totally spooked by the main menu playback. I wound up working on some article translations with A Mighty Wind in the background and plenty of doughnuts to hand for the long haul. I'll watch the film on Friday when there's plenty of daylight in the house.

As an aside, I have come to the realization that there are not enough doughnuts in the world. This is both good and bad. If there were enough doughnuts in the world, I would eat them--which is no good. However, there are not enough doughnuts in the world, and that makes me sad (though ostensibly more healthy in the main).

no, there are never enough donuts in the world.
I'll have to make some homemade ones again soon sometime when you can eat them while they're hot, because they're so tasty.

If there were enough donuts in the world, and you ate them, wouldn't that make a donut famine?

On another note, you've always been a wuss about scary movies. Nothing new. You can take it, and remember that it's just a movie. No matter how scary it gets, it can't get you... unless it's a mysterious video tape immediately followed by a phone call with a raspy bitch on the other line.

It would make a doughnut famine for everyone else--like I really care about that. ;)
