As far as I'm concerned, the benefits of teaching do not outweigh the drawbacks. So I'm going to have to think really seriously about how I want to shape my future career.

Something else just happened. I'll tell all on Wednesday. You know that I wasn't all that sure about teaching going into it, and this semester really seems to have conspired to convince me that it's not for me.

I'm actually going to blog an expanded op-ed on the subject at large after I get home.
