Progress.

I wrote the first (extremely tentative) paragraph of my methodology paper this afternoon. It represents the first real writing of my graduate academic career. I don't imagine I'll take any further steps forward until I've reorganized all my research (and - for that matter - finished it), and I'll probably rewrite the blasted thing a dozen times before the process ends.

But it's there, and it makes me happy.
